Joe Joyce showed power but NFL star Efe Obada walloped talkSPORT's punch machine harder

Joe Joyce might be known for his hard-hitting punches - but he is second-best in the talkSPORT offices.

Using the 'Brazilinator' - talkSPORT's very own punch machine - Joyce registered a jaw-dropping score of 936.

However, that is not enough to put the heavyweight boxer at the top of the charts and he trails NFL star Efe Obada - by one point.

The defensive end popped in for a chat and then demonstrated his walloping power that has never been seen before - in these offices at least, anyway.

Obada's remarkable score of 937 has made him the talkSPORT punch machine champion - for now.

We are sure Joyce would like another go the next time he visits, though he might be busy preparing for his next fight.

The Juggernaut faces Zhilei Zhang in a rematch on September 23 after losing to the Chinese fighter in April.

That was the first defeat of Joyce's professional career in the ring, having beaten Daniel Dubois, Carlos Takam and Joseph Parker previously.

Obada, meanwhile, has had an extensive career in NFL and has played for the Carolina Panthers, Atlanta Falcons and Kansas City Chiefs.

Born in Nigeria, he later moved to England and started his career at London Warriors in 2014 before making the move to the United States, signing for Dallas Cowboys a year later. He currently plays for Washington Commanders, where he recently signed a new contract.

Making up the rest of the top five in the talkSPORT boxing machine challenge, it might be no surprise to see another boxer in the top three.

Two-time world featherweight champion Josh Warrington is currently third after a savage punch that registered a score of 931.

The Leeds-born star has not fought since December 2022 and it might be time to get back in the ring with punching power like that.

Warrington lost to Luis Alberto Lopez my majority decision to lose his IBF featherweight title.

Will we see the 32-year-old back in action anytime soon and try to win back those belts?

But coming in fourth is talkSPORT's very own Ade Oladipo, who put fifth-placed Spencer Oliver, who managed a score of 914, to shame with an incredible score of 921.

That might make Rory Jennings think twice about spouting off on the next edition of The Transfer Insiders on talkSPORT...
